OOC – Continued from this thread.BIC – Tyler sighed wearily. It was a strange feeling, and not a very good one, to be stranded out here in the mountains – he was constantly on edge, wary for danger, while being sore and exhausted at the same time. He couldn't begin to imagine how his companion Valefor, the griffin, might feel. Glancing again up towards the sky, he pawed a hoof nervously on the ground. "We need food and water," he mused anxiously, mostly to himself. But I can't leave him here alone. OOC – Open to everyone who's roleplaying on the griffins' side! =D Join us! xD

Adrian never really could master flying.
he reminded himself this as he was flipped and tossed by the harsh mountain wind. terrified and on the verge of shifting shapes again just to escape the wind, he dived in a last-ditch effort to escape. for a glorious moment he was free of the wind, and then...
CRACK.
Adrian cried out as he hit rock. he rolled, his wing throbbing in pain. opening his black eyes, he saw that it was bent sharply in a place it shouldn't be. he groaned, he hated broken bones. he could fix them within seconds, of course, but it was quite an unpleasant feeling, re-setting them and feeling them re-mend. he internally hit himself for not choosing a more stable form than the little black sparrow he was now.
preparing to fix the bone, he looked up, and froze. standing above him was a griffin. swearing silently, he began chirping piteously. he couldn't just use magic in front of him. sparrows just didn't DO magic. and he couldn't just leave with his broken wing. leave it to him to be the only regenerating creature to always get hurt somewhere he couldn't regenerate.
"E...excuse me, s...sir." he chirped, "M... my wing. i... it hurts." he nearly gagged, but he had to keep up some sort of charade. the quicker he got his wing fixed, the quicker he could shift and leave this dumb form behind.

Pale watched to little black sparrow and the Hippogriff with half closed eyes. A few moments ago he had landed. He looked around at the others around him, his muscular chest puffed noticeably. Looks like once again, I'm going to have to take charge and show the hatching what being a Gryphon is all about. He thought with his usual attitude that he was the great. *** Snow landed behind her brother and almost slammed into a boulder. She was very weary, due to he brother forcing her to fly all night and not have any food. Right now the only thing she wanted to do was curl up and sleep.

Tyler leaped up in surprise when he heard the black sparrow chirping. He hadn't heard Adrian land (or break his wing). He cursed when his hooves made noises, looking around until he found the source of the sound. He tilted his head, concerned, and very flustered. "Oh! Are you alright?" he asked, not quite knowing what else to say. How am I supposed to help him...? he thought desperately.
He felt incredibly useless. Two injured companions now, and he could do nothing to help either of them. He looked around wildly for help, and something must have heard his prayers, because all of a sudden there were two pure white Gryphons there. He almost fell over in fright. "I – I – what are you doing here?!" he gasped, wincing as one of the Gryphons almost slammed into a boulder. He fervently hoped they were friends and not enemies, because they were in no condition to defend themselves...

If Pale had lips he would have smiled. "Me and my-" He motioned his head towered his crouched sister, a disgusted look on his face before continuing. "My Sister, scented you", his voice was a purr as he stepped closer, his tail swished back and fourth and the weak sunlight reflected on his body. "We figured we would come see what was going on", Hunger burned in his icy eyes as he gazed down at the injured swallow as he finished speaking. "How many of you are here?" Pale asked, ruffling his feathers as his sister dragged herself beside him, her head dropping.

Adrian straightened, trying not to move his broken wing. he opened his mouth.... beak... and was about to sound piteous again, but realized that wouldn't help him at all, and it was rather annoying.
"Sorry." he winced as the wing moved. "Need to watch my landing skills next time." he looked up at the two newcomers, then back to the griffin. great. none of them would be able to set his wing. that meant he most likely had to stay untill it healed the natural way. that could be a month, at least! how did he get into these situations?

Tyler cautiously took a step away from Valefor, but continued to keep an eye on him, hoping that nobody would make a sudden move. He wouldn't be able to do much if they did – he was weak from fighting anyway, and weary from keeping watch. He wished he could help the sparrow, but had no idea how. He couldn't even help Valefor.
Turning to Pale and Snow, he said anxiously, "To answer your question... I think there are –" he stopped to do a headcount – "five of us here. As for what's going on..." His eyes turned pleading. "Valefor and I got into a fight with a dragon, and he's injured. Please, whatever you were going to do, don't hurt us." He thought about adding, We could really do with some water, but thought he should make sure they weren't intending to harm before trying to get help. "Please? We're of... almost the same species..."
